The cross is original, the mini also looks ok.

Chris, I agree with my collegues, the ss mini looks fine. As a sidenote, I've never encountered these with a ribbon ring, which is rather odd. With that said, I think it's fair to assume the silvered ribbon ring on your set has been added at a later stage, but in my book thats no big deal
