    PAB in Bronze

Hey all. My collecting interest doesn't usually lead me into the "Assault Badge" line of awards but I am always on the look out for exceptions. Yesterday I saw this one and have been debating on if I want to nab it or not. It's listed as a BH Mayer.

To be honest I'm not familiar with makers on these badges, but I have always been a huge fan of the hollow "stamped" badges. For whatever reason, the bronze grades also attract my eye more. This one caught my eye right away, the nice (or so it appears) deep color of the badge. Anyone have opinions/comments etc etc on this one?

    Any input is much appreciated!

I'm bumping this thread because I have good and bad news.

Bad news is I whiffed on the Mayer PAB. I thought it was lovely, all of you seemed to as well. I went to purchase it and it was marked as sold

lol anyhow, I have learned in this hobby often times the lows of missing an item you really enjoyed are quickly overcame by the highs of fining something similar/better that you didn't have a chance at before. Enter the good news!

I found this Juncker PAB in Bronze. Not in the exact shape as the Mayer, the color is a bit toned down (assuming because of general wear) but it's still a sweetheart.

All comments are welcome. Feedback is always a plus!

Looks like a good hollow, bronze, zinc Junker to me. Finish is choice and it is in great condition with only slight wear to the highlights. Nice one
