hehe, i think more people will say/think the same about "relics" as you :P
I don't have any specialized field of collecting as the most here have.
Still just collecting anything i think is cool. Collecting now for a year.

@ Rob83, i have no idea where it's found, it already had several owners.

For me this is great relic. Maybe because I`m relic hunter. Somebody has saved this badge for not rottening away.

            Hi Tjardo,

Nice pickup. I agree that any ORIGINAL badge, no matter what the condition is worth collecting. These ground dug badges can offer some very good clues on what was produced during the war and have helped authenticate badges in the past that were thought to be postwar fakes.

Looks like a JFS clasp to me.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

This one was there, not like the mint piece that was never touched by a vet...

Nice relic. I honestly dont see how anyone who loves collecting could say they wouldnt have this in there collection. haha. Of course most of us try to find some nice minty looking badges, but there is a "cool factor" in these relics that just yell out HISTORY IMO. Every badge is a piece of history and deserves a place in someones collection, so Im glad to see it found an appreciating home.

Yes . When I dug my first IAB I was very happy. That moment I wont forget very soon. It is very cool to have relic condition badges. Those you have found yourself are the best.
