            Hard to find L/21 - can you show the head in focus?

              Here is a better picture of the head.

              This is as good as it gets.

              Under a loop it looks like the lacquer and frosting have filled in the eye.

              I don't want to scrape it off.

                The head shot of my L/21 for comparison. Your badge differs from mine in the eagle's shoulder area. Also the catch is a little different in shape than mine and that seen in the book.

                  From the pics both badges are originals for me, but be careful, there are very dangerous fakes from L/21ers on the market!

                  @ fdodge: can you pleace show your whole badge? Would be nice!

                    Your badge is missing a lot of detail, especially in the eagle. Can you post some more close ups of the obverse details?
