    Heeresberfuhrer badge

Hello i am new to this, I have just found a Heeresbergfuhrer badge and do not know much about it. the gentleman whom owned it has recently passed away . He was a member of the 106th U.S. division. He also was a prisoner of war which I have found a load of paper pertaining to this. I do not know much about this field and would like to contact someone whom does. Thanks Gene

Gene, Welcome to the forum...It's best to put up pictures of the badge and ask for opinions as per some of the other threads mate...that way you will get a cross section of opinion from experienced collectors and moderators.

P.S. take a look at how to highlight relevant features of the badges via the photography threads here mate, they will help.
    Cheers, Steve

Hi Gene, It's possibly a size issue (i.e. pic resolution)...try resizing the pic (down) using your photo shop application and then reattach through the "Manage Attachments" function. Otherwise save them at a lower resolution and ensure they are saved as .jpeg files or another compatible file before attaching them...hope this helps.
        Cheers, Steve

          Heersbergfuehrer Badge

Here is a photo of an original award for comparison. If it differs from this one you should be wary.

These awards sell for high prices so I hope you get yourself a bargain.

                Hi Steve,

Cheers Mate for the nice comment.

I have been searching for the thread where I posted some of the other items that came with this badge but can't find it.

Anyway, here is the guy's Wehrpass if you are interested in seeing it:

Maybe because he's not an association member
