    Close Combat Clasps - Real?

Hi, I'm reposting here. (original thread)

I've got some clasps I can't figure out, the back plate is magnetic but the rest isn't.

    Are they the real deal?

    Thanks

It's kind of hard to see, but as far as I can tell these are gold, silver and bronze and in that order in the photographies. Am I correct?

Been told in the original thread that the "bronze" (third) is a fake, and that the second might be. Is the gold one (first) original? And in that case, what's it worth on the market? Seen prices ranging from ~600 USD to 3 500 USD for authentic gold clasps.

    Thanks

      Hi Olorf,

The top two are originals, but very worn. The third one (F&BL) is indeed a common copy that has been around now for about 20 years.

I would agree that the top is gold, but the looks of the flecks around the hinge and catch.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thank you for the quick reply.
Is there any way to tell whether the second one is silver?
