    Hi Dietrich,

The GAB, PAB and IAB share the BH Mayer/ Frank&Reif design.

Looks like an interesting catalog, from which maker is it?
    Kind regards,
    Giel

        Hi Dietrich

Minesweeper plumes can be very distinctive on certain makers. Is the glare on the upper part of the plume due to your scan/pic. Is it possible to get a clearer view of it.

        regards
        Graeme

I think we have covered this catalog technique numerous times.

Here is the mine sweeper as a bigger picture. They don't look like drawings to me - especially later in the catalogs are hundreds of minis. Not painted!

                  Yes, I know.
Still more like drawings than photographs, though.
Can't be 100% accurate, and so can be misleading.

That picture is from Signal and also shows two German Crosses. And the picture is NOT a drawing as I will show in my upcoming DK book.

So you are now comparing what to what?

Robin is right. The sub badge looks nothing like a Minesweeper badge.......

Well judging the IAB it´s more Frank & Reif design wise.
The so called B.H.Mayer IAB has a different leaf design on the one in between the riflebutt and sling...
                            Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

I agree the IAB looks nothing like what we commonly refer to as the BH Meyer IAB. But does look much more like the Frank & Reifs we know from the marked zincers.
