    Badge weights

What would be an acceptable range in grams for badges made by the same maker? For example would a GAB 25 marked RK weigh as little as 31 grams or as much as 36 grams? What is the normal variation in weights for most zink badges.

Hard to tell what´s an "acceptable range". For example the weigth of an sc Monster S&L PAB is about 38-40 gram, a normal one with same hardware style weighs about the half. I think that´s a full range

      Hi

I think the range you mention would not necessarily be a problem providing other indicators such as dimensions, finish, feel, hardware etc were all in line with known good examples. IMO weight is not as important a factor as the other areas mentioned. We quite often see badges from the same maker with varying degrees of thickness, and there could be several valid reasons for this, including different dies, or cutting back on materials.
