    Hollow Bronze FLL IAB

    Hi Guys

It seems very quiet on the forum, so I thought it a good time to show off my latest aquisition that I aquired from the estand, thanks to Christian

A while ago Philippe posted pics of a Hollow Silver FLL that used the catch normally associated with the solid rivetted type. For me this was pretty cool
and fortunately it did not take too long to find a silver one also.

But now I have a real set of twins.
I hope you like them. All comments welcome.

    cheers
    Graeme

                Hi Graeme,
In my opinion these hollow FLL IAB’s are the most underrated IAB’s around. I love the eagle design and characteristic for all FLL made badges “double beak” look! Outstanding badge! Congratulations!...

                            Morning Graeme,

Hope you has a good nights rest

Indeed a very nice example in very good condition. These late FLL's in Bronze are much more difficult to find then their counterparts.

I still remember that this FLL was one of the key badges that made me look with other eyes at badges in general. That catch not only allowed us to link an unmarked badge to a maker but also provided us with an insight in to how production of badges evolved.
