    Pab mint gwl?

    Hello,

    I got this nice PAB.
Is it a original GWL Badge?
I had some before with this stunning Chrome finish..

    Thanks and Regards

According to Philippe De Bock this B&NL badge. Not GWL.

      Thank you..
      Is it hard to find?

Indeed, not a GWL but a far more difficult PAB to find. It is attributed to B&NL as member Ryuuk mentioned.

Don't get too carried away I'm sure there are more than three out there.

                  Nice badge.

Is it typical for the pin to be this color? Or is that just the mark of an unworn badge?

                    Hi Gary B

......My thoughts also when I first got a look at the reverse.
Have yet to see or even hear of another PAB with a black pin.
Makes me think that this badge may have been refinished.

                      Not refinished for sure.
It’s the identical finish like on the GWL Chrome badges.

                        Hi Robin,

Very rare B&NL PAB as the others have said, and not refinished at all IMO. The chromed silver finish is correct for this maker, we have seen it on their more common IABs from this maker. Its also common for this maker to not have finish on the hinge and catch, which were installed AFTER the badge received its silver finish so this also makes me think this badge is perfectly fine and not refinished. Its just in such pristine condition that it is hard to believe, but I like it and think forensically it matches other B&NL products.

The black pin is a little odd, it is typically left unfinished like the hinge and catch on B&NL badges. But are we sure its black finished and not just a trick of the lighting? To me that is the only question mark on this remarkablely rare badge.

                        Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                          Berg & Nolte PAB

                          Hello,

here is another picture of this PAB.

                          The needle is completely black.

                          Regards, Boris

The look is great, like my storm badge from B&N L. Looks like chrome.

A brilliant panzer badge in timewarped condition.
                              Great find.
