I can't help you with determining fake versus real, but you certainly have a very nice collection of these, especially the cased ones!

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the comments - I think the pin backs are good, wish I could be more certain on the lesser grades. I think No.10 with the simplified wreath is a rare early type but would appreciate confirmation. Did Souval produce these medals post-war and if so, do these medals have any identifying characteristics? Thanks again, all the best, Guy

Having reread Andrei's excellent thread on these awards, it seems that the Souval post-war issues have flat backs, but it looks like some convincing fakes have appeared on eBay though.
