Ribbon Bar Device-Westwall???

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if this ribbon bar device for the Westwall Medal existed pre-'45, or is it postwar fantasy?
I have had no luck, so far, in finding any information on this, & find it strange that there would have been any need for such a device.
The construction of the actual bar seems to have all the correct qualities for TR manufacture, & although not too apparent from my pictures, there is a swastika present within the wreath.
I would appreciate any comments on this subject.

These were period devices, though more commonly found on Buttoniers (like below). They were something you could pay a little extra for to "spice up" your buttonier/bar.

All of these I've come across all seem to have a weak swastika on them.

I think you have a nice looking bar there.

Chris, I didn't know that, about these being available for private purchase...Nice buttonhole btw.
I'm constantly amazed by the detail on these wee things.
Peter, I have seen the bigger (13mm?) stickpin version before, but yours seems smaller...Is it 9mm X 7.5mm ?

Hi John.

This one is 11.31mm. I've never seen this one in any smaller size, so I can't confirm it's existence.
