Medal Bar with EK2, KVK2 and Ost

Hello,
Helping a friend of mine evaluate his collection of militaria. I believe this is an original medal bar and all the medals are original to it, but wanted to get your opinions just to be sure. I will also post the photo of the EK2 in the cross section to see if anyone can identify a maker. Since the medals are sewn down, I couldn't turn them over to get shots of the reverses. Unfortunately I only had a few minutes to look the bar over and snap some quick photos under a desk lamp, but hopefully these will suffice for you to give an opinion.

Hi Wayne,
In the crosses forum I am receiving an opinion that the ribbons may either be repros or newer than the medals, i.e., the bar has been remounted later. I will see my friend this afternoon and will try to get better daylight photos, but it may be a few days before I can post them.

Ribbons

Ek ribbon does look odd, almost like a straight edge. Ost looks ok; not sure about the kvk though, looks a tad strange from reverse, but could just be light.

Hi Dale,

Pretty nice looking bar although I must admit that the EK2 ribbon looks a bit odd. Maybe some more pictures of the ribbon edges would help. The KVK and Ost ribbons look fine IMO.

Still, for $1.20, I'll take it.

Interesting that the EK ribbon has been folded to fit while the other ribbons appear to be standard size. And from the reverse, the EK ribbon looks wider than the others. Perhaps a Knight's Cross ribbon as a substitute?
