gold horse riders badge - fake???

Hey guys, I saw this for sale. I am of the opinion it is not a legit piece, but would appreciate your input. Anyone know enough about these to tell if this is real or fake? These are the only pics available.

Hi Ken,

is this described as gold ??? looks like a normal bronze badge in colour,
if it was a gold badge (210 issued ) a hands on would be essential.
To my knowlege these badges are not being faked as due to the lack of a swastica they are not the most desirable of badges amongst collectors of nazi (german ) awards.
But i could be wrong

The person selling it identifies it as a gold badge....but like you, I think it looks bronze. But, if the group concurs it is real, I would be happy purchasing it even if it is a bronze.
