hey guys picked this up the other day, real or fake? can anyone tell me what its worth? and would anyone know where i can find about 6" of replacement ribbon?

From what I can see, the medal looks fine to me. I don't have any extra ribbon for the Austrian Occupation Medal, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. Detlev Niemann usually sells ribbons for medals, but unless you are buying something else, it wouldn't be worthwhile to buy just a piece of ribbon from Germany. Are you going to the Show of Shows in Louisville, Kentucky in two weeks? If so you will be able to find the ribbon you need at this show. I can pick up a piece for you if you like. Just let me know.

Hi Ken medal looks good to me
.Would leave the ribbon as it is, these to my knowledge did not come with a long piece of ribbon. Yours, although hard to tell by the pics appears genuine. If you are not happy with it you could try Detlev, but me personally would leave the ribbon as it is. OH i can see the sticker
