    Gebirgsjaeger Batallion 98 Medal

    I assume this was some form of un-official unit service award. This is for the "War Year 1943". Has anyone got any more information of this type medal? Thanks in advance!

      That's a lovely medal and I have seen them before.

      I am sitting here in Garmisch Partenkirchen looking at the mountains shown on the medal and that is the Alpspitze in the background.
