    Hungarian arrow cross badge question

    Is this badge of the membership of the hungarian Arrow Cross Party or a decoration of the Vannay alarm battallion?
    (from the date I think the membership badge of the Arrow Cross Party)
    Thanks for your help

    I've never seen such an insignia looks like a fantasy item.

      I think it's a Arrow Cross membership badge, because the Vannay alarm battallion does not exist in 1938 (see the date on the badge)
      Vannay made in the summer of 1944 his battalion

        I have my doubts that this is original as well

        Hungarista is not an Hungarian word

        It would be something on the lines of 'Magyar'

          Hungarista means hungarian nacionalist
          This word was invented by Ferenc Szálasi the leader of the Arrow Cross Party in 1939
          This badge is a mystery or a fake because the Hungarian Arrow Cross Party founded in 15th march in 1939, and you see clearly the date of 1938 on the badge
          Similar badge was the Vannay alarm battalion forces but they also were set up later in the summer of 1944

            Ok that would explain why it is not in the two

            Magyar->Angol szótár I have handy

            How would one pronounce that in Magyar?? From my very (very) basic Hungarian that would be a real tongue twister?
