    Help with another ribbon bar?

    Gents,
Here is yet another ribbon bar which I am rather puzzled with! According to the Soldbuch he is entitled to:
War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, Order of the Star of Rumania 5th Class with Swords, Russian Front Medal and “Krim” Shield.

    So what are the others?
    Is the order:

    EK II 1914, Ehrenkreuz 1914/18, Ostmedaille, ?, 1.10.38 m/Prag Spange, 13.3.38, ?, KVK II m/S !!!!!!

    Thanks in advance, Ian

Ooog, this one is Blurry Torture:

clearly 1914 EK2, then WW2 KVK2X, next two are ?? WW1 awards, then the next one is presumably the Hindenburg Cross with Xs, a blue long service ribbon, and the last three are not only blurry but smacked under the ink stamp, but I'd say the next to last one is the Third Reich 25 Years Faithful Service cross (little mini silver cross with swastika device).

When was the photo taken, per the book? I don't think the third ribbon is the 1941/42 East Medal-- way too dark... It looks almost like a Schaumburg-Lippe Cross for Loyal Service (their "EK2"). So the one following may be the Lippe-Detmold War Merit Cross.

Where was he from, and what was his civilian profession/residence? Rick

        Hi Rick,
Here is an image about normal size if it makes the image any better.....
The Soldbuch was issued Sept. 1942, as per regulations photos did not appear before November 1943...he appears to be a Hauptmann so the photo at least was taken after June 1942. All his awards noted in the Soldbuch are from 1942 with the latter being December....so that puts the photo taken during 1943.
He was born during 1890 in Rodheim an dem Bieber, Giessen, Hessen.
        Civil occupation Verwaltungsbeamter (Oberstadtsekretar).

        Hope that helps a bit!

        Cheers, Ian
