    Unknown Ribbon Bar

    Hello,
Can someone indentify this Ribbon BAR?
The picture was taken 1945 and shows a ?Oberzahlmeister?, who served in the Sudetenland, France and maybe Poland.
He served for a short time in the Austrian Army (1938).
He didn't serve in the WW1, nor was he a member of any Party Organisation.
Earlier photos show him with the Sudetenlandmedaillie, which is missing on this photo.
    Thanks for your help.

      Hi,
I also came up with this, but as I said in earlier photos this soldier only wears the Sudetenlandmedaillie and no other medal.
And he was in the austrian army, when Austria "came back to the Reich" and he was not a friend of the Nationalsozialismus.
But I don't know the regulations for beeing awarded with the Austria Anschlussmedaillie. WAS it common to give this award to austrian soldiers. Why isn't he wearing the Austrian Anschluss on earlier Photos and why isn't he wearing The Sudetenlandmedaillie on this photo? On this photo is also his Schützenschnur missing.

I must say I'm very confused.

This shot might be PRIOR to the Sudetenland annexion. Well,"a friend of National Socialism" or not, as long as he wore a German uniform and had that rank I think it would be fairly easy for him to receive that Austrian annexion medal. I can´t see it being anything else.

First of all Thanks for your help.
But I#m very sue that this photo was taken in 1945.
1.) 1945 is written on the back of the photo
2.) he started his duty as an enlisted man
3.) I think he wears a Uniform Modell 44 or similar

Is it possible that this is the ribbon bar of an foreign order.
          A czech one?
          Cheers

....another possibilty could be that it actually IS the Sudetenland medal, but the cotrast between black and red is so bad on this pic that it seems to be one tone in b/w. I have seen some b/w pics of the WWII era where red appeared almost black.
