                  Dear Ron,

What a great set. I really love those Finnish devices. They are not easy to come by.

                  Best regards

                          Thanks for the additional pics

I find it a bit odd to see a 1939 cross when i expected a 1941 issued one.
Are there any explanation to this?

I am not aware of any german volunteers during the finnish Winter war (1939-40) and if it is a volunteer where is the Winter war commemorative medal?

To me this looks like a mismatch and that someone added the cross it self later on.
                          Regards
                          Hans N

                            Hans,

                            Many thanks!

The medals and ribbon bars are from separate sources and were only put together in the photos for effect.

                            Sorry for any confusion.

                            Best regards,
                            Ron
