    help with unknown wehrmacht award

hello I'm first time caller myself me beeing from Lithuania and I'm big fan of Third reich collectables. but now for a couple years I'm facing a terrible problem, - I can't identify my finding... well I bought a cross that is even for my eye not a fake but I can't identify. Have no picture attached because it was impossible for time beeing to scan it, so I'll just have to describe it to you and if you can, please help me and write a message to my email.

so... it looks as follows... it is somewhat similar to EKI but in the middle it has a german eagle with Hakenkreuz and swords, and instead of black colour on the cross it has red,... light red... and the most important part on the back it has a marking... not by a maker I supose cos it reads: Wolffschanze....???????!!!!!!!!
so if you have seen any of this or heard please I beg you .... email me

    Wolfschanze , etc ...

    Hello Giurza ,

First of al welcome towards this forum , however i wil be the bearer of bad news for you i think => there was never a maker called " Wolfschanze ..... " or anything similar during the third reich period and the cross you are describing is not a known award, etc ... but has popped up on regular times on several online auctionhouses .

there is only one explanation for this : it was a never existing award and is nothing else then a Fake to fool the unaware , im sorry but thats the way it is with this badge you are describing , im sure otehrs have seen or heard about this badge also .

Cordial Greetings and enjoy your time over here

      Hello Giurza

Welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your stay. I am in total agreement with Stijn David sounds like a pure fantasy piece. There has been many Christmas tree decorations popping up in recent times on online auctions and they appear to be coming from Eastern Europe; Poland, Ukraine etc. The best way to guard against such rubbish is to get your hands on some rock hard reference material. This forum is a excellent place to learn, meet new people and share our wonderful hobby.

        Welcome

        Indeed...Welcome

You will learn a lot on these forums. There are people here whose knowledge is unbelievable.

I have been collecting for close to forty years, I thought I had good knowledge. What I knew was trivial compared to some people here.

These forums are like a University education.

        Enjoy

        David

thanks... I thought so... I've nevere seen anything like it and though I consider myself as a man with a knowledge big enough to know what and how... I choked and thought... hm maybe it's some very rare medal and I don't even know of it.
so thanks everyone for help. will be here now and then posting some material from my collection which is not a fake like the last one
          regards and thanks once again

            Hi Giurza,
I would still like to see this badge you are talking about. I don't think I've seen this one before. Thanks and welcome to the wagon train.
