    Tapferkeitskreuz Bulgarien 1941

    Hallo,

    Hi Krimson

Your award is a bulgarian Military Cross "For Bravery" 1st or 2nd Class.

It is known, that in the first time of World War II, the old crosses with 1915 date, had been awarded. Later, the crosses with 1941, as your cross.

    Bulgarien.
    Militärorden für Tapferkeit (1880-1944)

    1. Modell mit Jahreszahl 1879 (1880-1914)
    Tapferkeitskreuz 2.Klasse.

    2. Modell mit Jahreszahl 1915 (1915-1942)
    Tapferkeitskreuz 2.Klasse.

    3. Modell mit Jahreszahl 1941 (1941-1944)
    Tapferkeitskreuz 2.Klasse.

2 and 3 model, won for German soldiers in WWII.

Many german soldiers were awarded with this award and others orders and medals, for their bravery in The Balkans (1941-43).

In this pictures of my collection, some bulgarian orders, badges and awards.... All won for German militaries.

A cross as yours, but 4th class, and with 1915 date...

      Hi Krimson!

You have a very nice 4th (or 3rd, depending on the form of the ribbon) class-cross. The ribbon is not the right one, as You can see on the pictures of "Al Bundy". I have to say that the "1941" issue is much more harder to find than the one from WWI.

      Kind regards, Peter
