He was promoted to Leutnant in 1917 so perhaps he is also wearing a lower class of Military Merit alongside the Order 4th Class. Another of the ribbons could be for the 1921 Bavarian Wedding Medal.

Thank you so much, my friend!

What can be said about this medal bar? I find it very strange, or maybe it's just common.

Without a doubt, a WWI veteran to begin with..

Medal bar of a former Austrian. The combination is common enough.

What is the name of this last general? This feldspange is amazing. Any chance of another even better picture or even better, a real deal?

Luz did not have the Bavarian Jubilee Medal.

Unfortunately the photo is not clear enough to make out the awards.

                              Generals ribbon bar

This ribbon bar was pulled out of the woodwork about 10 years ago. It was on a Luftwaffe general's tunic. While I know it is not a Luftwaffe bar I am thinking it may have came off an army generals tunic. The uniform was taken by a veteran in the Berchesgaden in 1945. Any ideas?
                              Thanks

Very nice bar Bruce. Can you post a photo of the reverse too please? This may give an indication as to what branch he served in.
