I can contribute pics of the Feldmarschall baton being carried. Here are a couple to start.

Batons being carried by Großadmiral Raeder and General Göring.

I thought his baton was destroyed in a plane crash... strange stamps on this one also.....

Red velvet too. Perhaps it is the angle of the photo shot.

Yes, that velvet also looks strange imho.

Not the color but the material of the red velvet.

Awarded only to Grossadmiral Erich Raeder and Karl Doenitz, this type of baton is the same as the Fieldmarshals, but with the following differences:
                  - The color of the velvet lining of the tube is dark blue
                  - At the top of the stick, the eagle is replaced by a gold anchor
                  - Gold metal anchors are among the crosses of iron and pipe golden eagles

                  Großadmiral Erich Raeder
The award ceremony was on April 1st, 1939.

Currently at the Hamburg Maritime Museum, Germany

The baton held by Reader is not the same one. Did he have more then one or is this another?

Göring had two batons, but that was an exception. All the other ( 25 exluding Göring) did receive one baton.

Status of fieldmarshal vs. Reichmarshal is difference and hence 2 batons of different materials and design for Goring.
Not all fieldmarshals has formal baton, ie, Paulus and Greim( who has interim only)

Greim never got a baton (inferim or formal). And Paulus I don't know if he ever got some sort of baton during his captivity (or postwar life)

                            My mistake:
                            Greim:nothing
                            Paulu:nothing
                            Schroner:interim only

                              You might be right.

Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb was the last one to recive the baton and 250`Reichsmark.

Paulus did recive the baton the 31 January 1943, but what he did with it...

Ritter von Leed or Ritter von Greim received the "last "baton"!
