3 Medal Bar

Hello all, thinking of buying a few items, and in there was this 3 place medal bar. Personally, I think it is a fine original, but second opinions are welcome Happy New Year!

The ribbon mounting is back to front but I think it's a good one too.

There generally is always some wear on old original bars, especially in places where medals overlap ,due to friction . It is very easy today to make or have any bar made up(as we are all somewhat aware) , and can be as intricate as the skill posessed by those who still use a needle and thread to tailor things with actual true traditional tailoring skills, by hand.So understanding that ...you can't fake wear , I also notice on many original bars the medals are usually secured to hold them still with thread, and to prevent excessive movement , and excessive wear, and I think that extra thread was common as an acceptible practice when bars were professionally tailor made or altered. Regardless, the medals are originals IMO. I'm wondering what gray material was used on the back, Puts me to mind of a double knit polyester.
