4 place medal bar for review please

Hi Guys

I have this bar today, all medals looks good, but I have a question about the ribbon of the 25 years medal, it appears white yarn on the edge (please see last pic), is it OK the blue ribbon looks like this?

The photo of the front of the bar is not showing up for me but from what I can see this is a nice tightly made original medal bar.

Hi Eric, there were atleast 8 ribbon producers in the TR, the white yarn on the edges you can also see on WMC ribbons. I have seen these cornflower blue ribbons turning all white because of a bad dye discoloring the ribbon to near white, not because of sunlight (the other ribbons colors were intact) but chemical breakdown of the color. I think the same phenomenon is in play with the outer strings on your medal bar ribbon, which has a very lovely patina. Theres absolutely nothing to worry about
