I believe the Sports badge is pre-swastika sport badges. Can we see a closer scan of the badge's front?

Congratulations on a very nice medal bar! I love it and like most members I believe it to be original. As others have stated probably done on private initiative without official sanction.

I know -57 badges where meant to be worn on the ribbonbar mounted on black ribbon, so far ok with the black wound badge. But what about the colourful ribbon for the sports badge, anyone seen that before?

          Peter , Good observation

J happen to be alloved to wear the sportsbadge myself, and the ribbon is also an unofficial way to wear it, which indicate thet this is done in a privately manner.
The sportsbadge is like its seen on the picture and like its predessor in WWII worn as an "Abzeichen". Cant belive J didnt see that imediately

          Best Jens

I do not believe this is post war. Does anybody else think that? If it is post war is the only give away the non stamped back?

I recently acquired a 1957 version of the Sports Badge. I will post some photos later, but the badge above is not 57 issue.

I would say that it is pre-war too.

In fact I need this gold version to complete a set on non-swastica DRL badges.

                          Regards ...

I quite like the whole set-up...obviously nothing too special..but the wearer evidently was very proud of his achievements and spent a bit of time and/or money to have his awards displayed....nice. Cheers, Torsten.

Try and tuck the rings and clips back under the ribbons to increase the overall effect of this bar.
