    LUFTSCHUTZ medal opinions?

I bought this and it came today. Is it an original? It feels really light almost like its not made of metal. I haven't had one before so maybe they are supposed to be like that. Please let me know I have 7 days to return it since I bought it on the Estand.

                  Luftschutz medal

                  M. Taylor:

2 quick ways to learn yourself....

                  (a) Really look at the alphabetical characters on these pieces....see if they are really
nice & clear. See if they stand high & "clean" from the surface.

                  (b) Look for a "seam" around the outside edge of these ribbon-suspended medal types.
A 2-sided medal is 'stamped' by a machine to produce it's message or emblem
some of the pieces are reproduced by MOLD & a piece that is 'molded' using 2
separate sides is PRESSED together under pressure & leaves the 'JOINED SEAM'
                  visible.

Most of the 'fakers' in the early days didn't bother to file or sand off these 'seams' & it was
very easy to detect the repro from the original. The same case when it came to the Luftschutz Cross piece. You simply look in between the 'crosses' arms & those 'PIE-CUT' openings around the edge of the medal & if a "Line" appears in the 'center'....you have yourself a "reproduction"!
