Memel Medal Cost

Just a quick question for those who have recently purchased a Memel medal. I have the oppertunity to buy a near Mint Memel Medal complete with ribbon, already given the by the forum for $235 USD. Now that seems a bit pricey to me, but this is the first one I have come accross that hasn't had any forum members on the fence about it, so maybe it's worth the extra cash? I am simply not quick enough to get one from Detlev.

What do you think, too pricey?

The Memel is the rarest of the three "flower wars" medals - - here in England you would have to pay between £100 - £130 for a genuine example.

Hey Dez, Unfortuantely it is not cased . But Detlev I believe sold one for $165 I think it was recently and I find his prices to always be Very competetive. This dealer while good is a little costly, but I like it and think I will get it.

You don't really see these for sale that often so it is hard to say really. The one you PM'ed me about Shane with tbe box is $300, so sounds about right the one you are considering.
