I'd wait for the more experienced collectors but the badge is original in my opinion.

    Kind regards,

      Hello birka,

The badge in the link you provided looks like an original first type 1939 wound badge in gold to me.

These are often confused or mis-labled as Condor Legion wound badges. According to Bill Hamelman's book "German Wound Badge 1914-1936-1939-1944-1957", when Germany began the 1939 campaigns the only available wound badge were readily available WWI wound badges. These badges were modified by restamping the swastika into the helmet.

There were 5 variations of the WWI wound badge. This badge looks to be a type 3.

The Condor Legion wound badge is based on the type 4 variation of the WWI wound badge.

The 'Spanish' WBs are in the grey area in the collecting comunity. I dont know if this is 39 first pattern or a 'Spanish' type but in my eyes is looking a good one.
