    Silver LDO Wound In LDO Case

    Is this wound badge in an LDO case in excellent condition worth $145?

    shane i would say it was although my knowledge is zero in decorations...why? Well that site sells ALL of its stuff all the time! regards, john

      Hi,

      The WB is very nice and original, i can't tell about the case with the numerus reproductions of that type. I don't think this case is original match with the WB. As for the price, this depends how much the collector want to spend for the piece who is interesting. My personal opinion on this the price is normal to little pricey.

        Must admit I can't recall ever seing a silver class wound badge in this type of LDO box before.

          I bought a silver wound badge marked "100" about twenty years ago and it came in the little LDO box just as Shane's. It has brown tissue papper wrapped abound the badge inside the box. I've always felt it was a mismatch that had been put together at the time and still do.

          Allan, did you notice we have the same number of posts?

            My thoughts

            Seems like the WB fits in there just a little too snugly. Would they really package it like that? Most award packets / boxes seem to have enough room to where the edges aren't jammed like that.
