SS Long Service Ribbon with device opinions?

Any opinions on this SS LS ribbon that was on the forum for sale? Thanks alot in advance. Michael

I believe original. The device is thinly produced, and takes the shape of the ribbon bar (which is correct). and the backing to that bar is a claw-back. Not easy to tamper with. The ribbon is heavily aged. The device and prongs to this would be inserted before the final assembly of the pin.
