    WH 25 years Long Service for review!

    Hi guys
    I have the medal yesterday

    I sure the medal itself is ok, but the package!

    Medal and the Eagle are magnetic !

    any comments are welcome!!!

        Hello Eric,

        I like the medal, ribbon, and eagle device. Very nice! I can't ever recall seeing a packet exactly like this one, but I think it looks good.

            Too bad about the rust.

            I know from past experience that this will not clean off.

            It's into the iron.

            Otherwise not often seen together.

                  Packet is the kind you might find with a pruisian service cross in stead of a TR service cross.

                  Here is the kind of packet that IMO belong to your medal.

                    Whilst I'd agree it's a broadly ''generic'' denomination and indeed could relate to a multitude of awards classified as 1st Class in their distinctive or relevant precedence of ''sets.''

                    I would contend that this is perhaps a rather feasible packet relating to the award, as indeed with the other classes of the LS awards are noted sometimes on the packets respectively as 11/111 Class; albeit, with award related designations.

                    However, not all of these LS packets are designated, and even when they are they can be pretty non-descript, too - as I believe we see here.

                    Take into account, say, even the old common Faithful Service awards are classified in such a way.
