RON R . My name is Mike . Have you found anyone else in the United States that has this First Class Fire Brigade Badge in their collections? I have a belief that only 5-7 of the First Class pinbacks exist in the world!!!!!! They were only awarded during a 13 month period until they introduced the smaller award with ribbon on Jan. 30th 1938. Only 147 First Class awards were awarded up to Sept. 1944 . Only authority to recomend this award was Himmler. Hitler retained the right to personally sign the award document . W. C. STUMP called this award Ultra rare before his death. He was one of the First collectors in this country. Angola refers to him in his books .
