Bryan, your pictures don't come up. They are no longer available as per Yahoo. Can you post them here?

        Nice bar!

It came through just fine this time. I like your medal bar. Where did you find it? If you don't mind how much did it cost?

          Hi Bryan
Your medal bar looks original and I’ve seen this type of backing method many times. All the medals look good as well.

            god nice bar

            Hello,

I like the bar as wel, the medals al look good , etc ... ( good find ), i also like the ribbon colours from the War merit cross with swords => the normally red is here more orange ( this can be due to light but looking at the other ribbon colours i do not believe that ) and this is a variation in a ribbon ( eitehr early or late war => who knows ? ) and brings up a interesting point : normally the Germans where quite strict in regulations, etc ... +> and however there does exist a variation colour ( this can also be found with iron cross ribbons, etc .. )

            Greetings,

Medal bar looks fine, on the other hand I got a pop up from your link about "Pornography on My computer" so I would advise not clicking on it.

?? It is not possible, I only upload these two pictures to this yahoo site and I think that yahoo will not do this kind of popup......

                Sorry to any uncomfortable.

Anyway, thanks for the comments and really thanks for all to post their idea.

I still welcome any messages for this medal bar.

Many sites do this, drives me crazy. This may have been a "public service" ANTI message, but any time anywhere I get ANY annoying popovers from any site, bye bye I'm outta there. I'm not wasting time swatting down flashing ads--for anything.

This bar is South German style, doubled ribbons, flat bottom, individually mounted on metal tab backs: KVK2X, Wehrmacht 4 army (or navy), Austrian Anschluss, Sudeten Annexation. Typical late 1940 bar, in very nice condition.

                    Hi Rick

Thanks for you message. This set is bought from Germany.

I would like to know more about the medal bar's style. As you say that this bar is South German style. May I have more information on the medal bar style? Any recommended sites or books? My knowledge on the medal bar analysis is very limited. I only used my limited knowledge plus a little bit luck to buy it.

Hope you can write me more for the different types of style.

                    Thanks

Try "medal bars" down in the "search this forum" box at the bottom of this Forum's first page and there are still many scans saved up in the old pages. Same in Imperial Forum too.

                          Hi mott5ranch

I am sorry that I missed to answer your question.

I bought the medal bar from ebay but I have purchased with this seller many times. Through eBay or behind eBay.

                          Cheers
