    SS ring

Being relatively new to this hobby, I have to admit to being pretty fascinated by the SS Honour rings. I have never seen one for sale on any site. Has anyone ever seen one or even have one in their collection? My guess is that they seldom make an appearance and when they do, they probably are priced into the stratosphere. Just asking, any views welcome. Thanks.

Wellcome Martin, take a look at one of our sponsors, ww2militaria and in the groups section you can find a fantastic group to a Waffen SS officer that includes his Honour Ring and document and many more things.

    Cheers

      SS Honour Ring

Hi Martin, try this website which is all about the SS Honour Ring. It is ran by Don Boyle, who is the world authority on these rings. His book is the one to get on this subject.

      Hope this helps you?

        Dear Martin,
I can sympathise with your fascination with honour rings, especially as your two guesses are unfortunately correct.
Nevertheless,it seems that if you have the cash available and you are in the right spot at the right time, these rings can be bought at a "reasonable"price.
Your best bet is to buy Don Boyles book and check out the honour ring section in the german daggers forum. As Angel says,ww2 militaria get them from time to time but are nearly always part of a group.
        Regards:Andrew

          Honor Ring Photo

Martin, my SS ring is one of the most prized items in my collection. Along with the ring is the far more rare original issue case with the rope-rim design. Don Boyle said that the had only certified three of this style as original in over 25 years. Hope you enjoy it.

              info

              Hello !!!
              Singley - wow! .. it's beautifull ... but I have a question.. ok.. two questions.. :-)
              1. When can I find a list of seniority of the SS officers.. or ring's recipients. Can I find it over the net ??
              2. How to recognize oryginal ?? I will try to put here a photos of my friend's ring.. but can You tell me anything about dimensions.. weight ? Ring he's got is early given - 1939.. recipients name: Heiger. Story is that this ring was bought in 50's by a jeweler - so we know last 50 years of its history.. in my opinion it's 90% original..
Anyway.. I will put here a photos in next 2 days !!
              Regards from Poland
              Mike
