    close combat badge

    Hello,

The close combat badge in silver, is this the more harder to find out of the three.
Ive just got hold of one after searching for quite some time, there seems to be lots of bronze and gold but very few silver.

Maybe i haven't been looking in the right places.

Is the silver harder to get hold of , i would like to know what others think.

    ccc silver grade

    Hello,

You are not entirely correct , the Gold ones ( the originals offcoarse +> not the often seen repainted ones !!!! ) are by far the hardest to find , and in my humble opinion the presentation types with the rivet and the hook .

I agree that the silver one can be hard to find , especially in a good condition ( most of these seem to be made out of zinc => with the normal deterioration of this material after a while this can give a rather dull looking bar .

    Friendly greetings,

ps : what maker is your CCC silver grade ?

            Hello Rich,

That's the one i would of liked to own, the early plated sort, that is a nice clasp you have there, but never mind i'am very happy with the one i have and that was hard enough to find.

Thank's for showing pictures of the clasp you have.
