Manufacturers sharing components

This thread stems from the posting on the Deumer Parabadge on the fallschirmjaeger forum.

We know for sure that some manufacturers shared components. For example Juncker and Imme shared wreaths.

Let's try and match others...

I'll try first:

Juncker and Imme (Luftwaffe badge wreaths)
Godet and Zimmermann (EK1s)
Assmann and B&NL (to me their wreaths for the parabadge and pilot badge are the same)
Foerster & Barth and Wernstein (GAB)


That's all I could think of for now


Any comments or additions?

Hi Rich....

.....Interesting subject. I can add FZS ( Fritz Zimmermann ) to the list. Their IAB's came with as many as 3 and maybe 4 different hinge/pin/clasp set-ups. I haven't looked, though, to determine which other manufacturers it was that used the same parts as they did.

Foerster & Barth and Wernstein obviously either shared the same type of dies or exchanged "Rohlinge" for their GABs. (see my thread "another GAB oddity" in the war badges forum here)

What about those HA/LM marked minesweeper badges, where they two manufacturers who shared components?
