? re Memel medal issue case

I have the issue cases for the medal of 3/13/38 (red with gold national emblem on the lid) and the medal of 10/1/38 (maroon with gold emblem), but I don't have (and have never seen) the issue case for the other "Flower Wars" medal for the return of the Memelland.
Has anyone else? What does it look like?

This is a question that did also crossed my mind several months ago, there is no other known case for the memelland medal then the red case as can be found with the medal of 13. Marz 1938 .

I have asked Detlev in the present regarding this is and he said the same that there are no other cases to be found then the red and the brown ones => so until now there did not surface any others , and it would not suprise me if indeed there where no other cases !!!!!!!!! , im happy without and personal i do not believe there existed a special case for this award.

Now that you mention it, I believe I did recently see a Memel medal offered with a paper packet on some web site. I can't seem to find it now (I'll keep looking!), but as I recall, the packet had no "Memel-specific" marking on it, so I didn't get it.
As for the cased Prague Bar -- thanks for reminding me. I need one!

I came across this nice example last year. Both were original but I believe possibly that the box was from an anchluss that had been paired with the memel. I know Formans guide says that it was issued in a red case but I am starting to believe that it was not actually issued in a case but in an envelope. Any one had a vet buy with box ??

Any one got a picture of a good fake Memel. I understand that the fakes have generally got makers marks on the ring usually 3. Has any one come across original Flower wars medals with makers marks?

I have also got a query with regards Prague Bars. I am sure these have also been faked. Any pointers as I have seen a few for sale with L11 on reverse that were sold without the medal or box??

Gentlemen,

just to let you know that Detlev Niemann lists a special case for the Memelland medal in his priceguide, which he prices double the amount than a Czechoslovakia annexation case. This proves that at least he is convinced that there does in fact exist a special case for the Memelland medal. Or just a mistake in the price guide (according to Stijn´s recent conversation with Detlev about this?).

Just for the non so good readers of this thread => i have also never seen a special case ( see my previous posting and read it carefully !!!! ) + i have never claimed that there was a error in the Price guide from Detlev regarding this.

Sorry, but you misinterpreted my post, it wasn´t me misinterpreting your post. I was suggesting that the info given in Detlev´s price guide might be a mistake because you seemed to have talked to Detlev recently about it and he reportedly claimed that there is no special case for the Memelland medal. Sorry if I wasn´t clear enough on this.
