    Need help to identify ribbon

Can someone identify the first ribbon on this bar? I have the standard ribbon charts but cannot seem to find it. I am sure it is obvious but still I would appreciate the help.

Its for the Silver Bravery Medal from the state of Wuertemburg, WW1.

THanks for the reply...I thought those bravery medals had yellow colored ribbons...this one that I have is definitely an orange color. Nonetheless perhaps you are correct and mine is just off colored a bit.

I think it is more likely an Austrian Long Service Cross.

          Best regards,

Here is an Austrian Officers Long Service Cross with more of an orange colored ribbon:

Note: Both this medal and the one shown previously are of the Austro-Hungarian Empire Period but the Republic of Austria (1918-1938) also had long service crosses and used the same exact ribbon.

The two-place ribbon bar which started this thread makes complete sense: An Austrian that served in the military post WW1 and then was involved in the annexation of his homeland in 1938. A Württemberg Silver Bravery Medal is not likely here since there is no Hindenburg Cross on the ribbon bar.

            Best regards,
            Tom

Here is one of the Austrian Republic (1918-1938):

I'm pretty certain that this is the type of medal your ribbon signifies. Your guy was obviously not a veteran of WW1.

              Best regards,

Thanks for the info...I think this pretty much solves it. I was too much concentrating on the WW1 period to look at the years between the wars. I had just figured he would be a vet.

Much appreciated. Now I can sell it
