Hi Daniel, I thought that was what it was, but what kind of device would have been on this ribbon?? I've never seen one with a hole in the center like that???

Hi Stogieman,

Normally the Luftschutzehrenzeichen has no ribbon bar device, but like some other medals too, there were unofficial devices existing, I think it was a miniature of the medal.

Dear Daniel,

I also think that makes sense because how would one know otherwise if it was the first or second class of that award since both feature the same ribbon?
