Hi Dion shows what a real original L13 looks like and a very nice one at that.

IMO this isn´t an ussual L/13. I think this maybe a copy. Reverse details are not those expected on the crosses of this maker. Look the pictures posted by Dion, or check some reference books as Detlev´s guides (pages 447 and 454 in the 2nd edition).

I agree with others, this piece hasn't a L/13 construction. I would not buy.

                    I agree with the others.

Meybauer SC are some of the nicest made Crosses out there IMO and the one shown at the start is not. Lots of detail differences.

Search old threads here (Crosses forum) and there should be some excellent reference PIC's to compare with.

Don't worry, good ones are still out there!

                      Hi Woytas......

......The other opinions are correct that the badge in the auction you are considering is bad.

The one thing about these Spanish Crosses that has always made me wince: One or more of the points always seem to be bent. Is someone using these awards as ninja throwing stars? Or maybe they are hard to hold, and they just get dropped a lot? Butterfingers syndrome?
