Good lord, where did that pop up?
It looks very new.
The combination makes (sort of) sense for a German NCO attached to Romanian troops. However, a frack bar in war time?.... when, where and why?
It's very odd that there is no KVKx though. This combination (with Ost and Crusade medal) was worn by a couple of German nurses who got the EK2.
As a Romanian combination same thing-jr. NCO, not in Russia.
Wierd, very, very wierd.

well ,,holding it in hand I think it has being worn ,,
but not fore long ,,than well stored
the metal underneath the ribbon has a thin layer off grey on it
don't know what that is ,,,and dos not look like home work.
its heavy,,,100 grams
details off the other orders are sharp ,good quality
the ribbons look cleaner on the picture as they rely are ,,
the crown is made out off two peace's ...
the swords are without details on the back
and are soldered on to the medal
I cant find anything on it that that makes my alarm bells ring .
al do aim not an expert on these ,,,

Definetly not-those are military Romanian awards. Not many diplomats get/got an army Commendation Medal by way of anaology.
The germans did have a goodly sized naval assistance detachment in Romania in 1939, but if this bar is real (and I reckon the odds at 50:50 ) I would suspect it went to a Bulgarian WO type-the sort of thing a translator got who was attached to a German training unit.
A war time German frack bar is really, really, really unusual.Comment
