what is this??

Hello there... sorry for any English mistake...
I bought this kind of medal in a military show...
As far as I know, there aren't any official DAK medal... so what's this?? In the back there are some letters in the base of the medal, but couldn't read very well... something like GES GESOH ...
I appreciate the help...

Sorry but it's a well known reproduction of the famous "Afrika Korps" Palm tree emblem....poorly made with modern enamel and shabby pin....

Bottom markings are "Ges. Gesch" which is found on many original items, but also very common on fakes.....

I was expecting already that it was a reproduction... My curiosity was about if was a official DAK pin... so if this is a repro, there are an original one? Nice to know...

I wouldn't call it a reproduction, but rather a fantasy piece (that never existed).
I still see them on ebay every once in a while.
