Actually they were made a little bit earlier than that because I bought one from a UK dealer whose initials were "T.O" in the late 1960's for 10 Shillings. When I told him I thought it was a fake he admitted that it was.

Hi Gaz...same curly '9' as started this thread....It's been languishing on this site for months. That tells it's own story.
