    Need RIBBON BAR to RESTORE a TUNIC

    hello guys and gals

    A fellow collector owns a tunic with loops for long ribbon bar on left breast pocket.

    he would like to "restore" its apperance.
    We've been told about somebody, perhaps in germany, but this last does not matter, that makes ribbon bars with original ribbons for display.
    Also, he needs devices for someones.
    If the ribbons finally are not toriginal does not matter. this is just for display.

    Can you help him?????????? ...

    well can you post a pic of the tunic? the rank service (heer lufty kreiesmarine ss )ect can determine what ribbon bar might go on it! but really unless its a named tunic and your have his full service record and or a pic youl have to guess what ribbon bar would go on it!

      don't have pics.
      he knows which ribbons he needs, but ... don't know where/who can do this job for him.

        I'm not sure what precisely your friend is looking for here.

        Maybe if you were to list how many places the bar is, the specific awards and devices on it, it would be a big help in assisting your friend.

          Check out gerst on Ebay he makes up ribbon bars and he learned the trade from his father from what I understand. I've picked up a few bars from him in the past and I'm thinking about having a Rommel bar made up by him.

            great. I've seen GERST sell ribbon bars thru ebay.
            perhaps make them himself. will let him the list of awards. perhaps he can do it for my friend.
