    Does anyone recognise this award?

What award are several soldiers in this line up wearing? Could it be a foreign award?

the caption has it as August 41 and it was from the Ost Front section of the Archive.

He is also wearing the Golden party badge, so he must be an old SA-man or something. You could hold a high rank in some party organization, and at the same time be an ordinary private soldier of the Wehrmacht.
