Ost Medals from a bundle

Hello everyone,

I picked these up today from the son of a veteran. He told me his father had taped a bundle of medals together and brought them home after the war. He said he cut the tape open, they were all the same and he would part with eight. I thought I would be getting 8 identical medals from the same maker, but it turns out I have 5 different makers!

All of the medals are marked. All but 2 came in issue envelopes. All are zink and have not been unwrapped since they were manufactured. I will post more photos upon your request once my camera battery recharges.

I placed the maker numbers on the photo.

Thank you all for the kind words. It is defiantly an instant Ost medal collection! I was very happy with the conditions of the awards. It is hard to find zink medals in such great shape. Now I am wondering if the seller has any more makers

i think the ostfront medal is probably the best designed of any third reich medal, simple , striking and unlike any other! ernst kraus did good!!
