Prague bar opinions.....

I have been searching the forum and reading some old threads about the Prague bar, I have an example here which I would like your opinions on, I couldn´t found it in any of the old threads so what do you folks say, good or bad?

I know about the HC ones and this one is not a HC one.

The lack of the HC mark doesn't mean that the bar is a fake. But it's quite difficult to make difference between some fakes and originals in this type of awards. Does it come sticked to a medal bar? Or you bought the bar alone? I post a comparison between a fake (top) and an original with HC marking (below).

Comparing yours with the original one, I would say yours could be a fake. I don't like it. Look at the the width of the frames. Yours have the frame narrower than an original. And look at the details: I don't like them. For example, one of the highest towers is missing! And the place where the HC letters must be (in marked ones), in yours, it seems as if the forger didn't know what the letters were and he engraved them as two gates or so. Sorry, I don't like it.

thanks for the input. This bar is attached to a small medalbar, and I am not to keen about it either.

Fortunatly I am not the owner of the bar, it was offered for sale, but I passed.

Hi

I really do not like this one. It looks all wrong to me (windows, bushes). Another thing is that freaks me out is that this appears to have this unusual type of laquer/paint (whatever it is) on it that chips away very easy. This is seen on modern fake badges. I have never seen an original badge chip away in this fashion.

The more I see it, the less I like it. Kenneth is right. Some details are enough to talk about a fake.
