Hi Guys.
Well i found some pictures of the badge in one of my angolia books,and after i have seen the pictures in that i am 99,9% sure that its a fake/copy and there should only have been seven badges delivered but there is no certen evidence on that or not ,and there might have been several grades of the badge so one thing is sure i am not buying the badge so i better save my money for something else,have a nice day to you all.

Well congratulations you are a lucky man i wish it was mine,i collect Gebirgsjäeger items and have a lot of fine items and groups and a lot of fotos do you now how many there where given and if there are different grades of the badge,as i could understand in angolias book there where only about seven given but there is no concrete information of that,but there must been givin more then seven but one thing is for sure its a rare badge you got and i now that its a stupid question but if you ever want to sell it i would very much like to buy it have a nice weekend to you all.

There were certainly a lot more than 7 issued. You should really post this badge on the Police and Civil Organizations forum. One of the regular members has several of these badges. I am trying to obtain the "Alpinist" badge to go with my "Hochalpinist".
